US retail sales fell 0.4% month-on-month in February
Recently, data released by the US Department of Commerce showed that, without adjusting for inflation, US retail sales in February fell 0.4% month-on-month to $697.9 billion, significantly cooling from the previous month's level. The year-on-year growth is still 5.4%. Excluding automobiles and components, retail sales also fell 0.1% month-on-month and increased 6.8% year-on-year.
