In dollar terms, exports rose 14.8 per cent in March from a year earlier
China's imports and exports totaled 542.99 billion U.S. dollars in March, up 7.4 percent year on year and 32 percent month on month, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs on April 13. Among them, the export of US $315.59 billion, up 14.8% year on year, better than the estimated decline of 7.1%; Imports were 227.4 billion U.S. dollars, down 1.4% year-on-year, better than the estimated decline of 6.4%; Trade surplus of $88.19 billion versus forecast of $40 billion
