Our foreign trade situation is still complex and severe

On April 23, Wang Shouwen, international trade representative and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, and other relevant officials revealed the next series of measures at a regular State Council policy briefing on promoting stable scale and sound structure of foreign trade held by The State Council Information Office.

At the press conference, Wang Shouwen said that in the first quarter, China's foreign trade import and export achieved 4.8% growth, which is not easy, and achieved "open door stability".

However, China's foreign trade situation is still complex and grim, facing many difficulties and challenges. From the external environment, the uncertainty of external demand is still the biggest constraint factor.
