Sino-Russian trade soared

Recently, according to customs statistics, from January to February 2023, the trade volume between China and Russia was 33.686 billion US dollars, up 25.9% year on year. Among them, China's exports to Russia totaled US $15.037 billion, up 19.8% year on year; China's imports from Russia totaled 18.649 billion US dollars, up 31.3% year on year. Russia's economy in January fell by 3.2% year on year, narrowing compared with the previous month. Before that, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia released data that the gross domestic product (GDP) in January fell by 3.2% year on year, narrowing compared with 4.2% of GDP in December last year, and increasing by 0.2% month on month after seasonal adjustment.
